Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR)
Every year, the Town Council has to prepare an Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR), which is subject to an annual external audit.
The appointed external auditor for this year is PKF Littlejohn LLP, 15 Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf, London. If you would like to read more about the external audit process, information can be found on the PKF Littlejohn website.
The AGAR documents you will find on this page are currently unaudited: they have been approved by the Town Council at a Council Meeting and have been submitted to undergo an external audit. Once the audit is complete, the audited AGAR and the External Auditor’s Report and Certificate will also be published on this page.
In accordance with the Accounts and Audit Regulations, the Town Council has put arrangements in place for the exercise of public rights. During this statutory inspection period, residents are able to contact the clerk and arrange a suitable time and place to look at the relevant documentation.
